Don’t bother reinventing the wheel when it’s already been created! 🤓
Thanksgiving Memory Game
I have a Thanksgiving Memory Game available for free in my TpT store.
It was $3.00, but I made it free through Thanksgiving Day – just for this blog post. 😄
It includes both paper and digital versions 📝💻 where students match Spanish Thanksgiving vocab with clipart.
Spanish Interpretive Reading: Los Países Hispanohablantes
Jen from Spanish with Sra Shaw has a free resource to teach students about Spanish-speaking countries. They can engage with authentic resources and build confidence with cognates.
Best of all, it includes both paper and digital versions 💁♀️
Allison from Mis Clases Locas has an amazing Insta-worthy Thankful Turkey bulletin board that you can replicate. #ImNotJealousYoureJealous
You just need construction paper, scissors, and markers. And I guess also a stapler to staple the hands to the bulletin board.
You can brainstorm with the class in Spanish what things they are thankful for, have students trace and cut out their hands, and then when everyone is done, you can make a gorgeous bulletin board with students’ hands as the “feathers”.
Check out her blog post on how to make your bulletin boards as gorgeous as hers.
If you can figure out how to make this activity digital, then you’re smarter than me and also omg please share.

Need to review la familia vocab, so students can talk about who they celebrate el Día de Acción de Gracias with?

Oh, and they’re self-checking and self-grading. Because grading papers is so 2019. 😆
